I have submitted my own tax returns for many years but feel that they have just become a little too complicated! My husband is in full time employment, and I work as a teacher from home, under a sole trader name. My husband and I also work together as a partnership, which I have registered etc. This is what has tipped the balance, as I now find I need commercial software to submit online. Although I do also have until 24th Feb to submit on paper. These two things are, in the main tax losses which we wish to offset against profits from our second property which is a buy to let. We also have family tax credits to think about so any income losses are welcome. Generally, the accounts are in order but I think that with some professional advice, I would save a lot of time and hopefully money in the long term. This year has been very complex, due to a disagreement between the Directors of a Ltd Company which I have now resigned from and next year will become even more so, as I am looking for ful
