Hello, I am a graphic designer. I have started working for myself last year in 2012 while also being employed full-time. From 1 May 2013 I will no longer be employed and will just work freelance.
I am looking for an accountant, who would prepare my tax return for the year 2012/13. It will be very straightforward I believe. This is for the time that I was employed as well as self employed. I have been working from home during that time. This will be my first tax return.
I am also looking to get some advice for the time going forward when I will just be self-employed. So far, I have one client and he will pay me a fixed fee each month. But I am thinking there might be more clients in the future hopefully. I would like to find out which is the best way to set myself up. If I can stay self employed or if I should set up a limited company, which would be the most cost-effective for me? I am also looking to rent a desk somewhere and would like to get some advice of how much tax I would be expected to pay con
