I've been self-employed as an artist for 20 years and am considering changing to a company to reduce my tax bill and create something for the future of my family. I need advice about whether this is a good idea and what accountancy costs this will involve to set up and run. I've been on Clear books since April 2015 and ideally would like my company to start in March/April this year. I became VAT registered last year and have just applied to de-register.
